We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician and Shop Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
• Document very detailed production processes, including any deviations from standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company policies.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes.

Specific Duties include:

• Manufacture of products.
• Learning and following detailed processes and procedures.
• Inspection of incoming raw materials.
• Repair and maintaining equipment
• Shipping and receiving.
• Operation of equipment and forklift.
• Packaging, labeling, boxing.
• Maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Cleaning duties for shop and offices.

Qualifications needed:

· Willing to accept and “take ownership” of assigned responsibilities.

· High school graduate or greater.

· Strong organizational skills and character.

· Math and reading proficiency is necessary.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or technical role is an advantage.

· Mechanical skills, plumbing and/or electrical skills are very important to this position.

· Must be trainable for forklift operation

· Lifting and moving containers of 50 pounds will be a daily requirement

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
