Marketing Data Analyst Jobs in Kansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing data analyst in Kansas?
Marketing data analysis in Kansas does not require a state-issued license. The standard path is a bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, business analytics, or data science, followed by building proficiency in SQL, Tableau or Power BI, and a major analytics platform. Many Kansas employers, particularly in Wichita's aerospace sector and the Overland Park tech corridor, also value candidates who can demonstrate applied experience through a portfolio of real campaign or attribution analyses.
How much do marketing data analysts make in Kansas?
Marketing data analysts in Kansas earn a median of about $70,430 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $38,540 for the lowest 10% to over $128,650 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire marketing data analysts in Kansas?
Kansas marketing data analyst roles are posted by Black & Veatch, Garmin, and AdamsBrown and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Kansas's concentration of large insurance carriers, regional banks, healthcare systems, and agribusiness firms means demand cuts across several industries rather than a single dominant sector.
Which Kansas cities have the most marketing data analyst jobs?
Overland Park, Wichita, and Lenexa have the most marketing data analyst openings in Kansas. Overland Park and the broader Kansas City metro anchor demand through a dense cluster of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and regional retail brands, while Wichita generates openings through its aerospace and healthcare marketing functions and the consumer-facing divisions of its manufacturing base.
Are there remote marketing data analyst jobs in Kansas?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 49% of marketing data analyst openings tied to Kansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how thoroughly this role is built around cloud platforms, shared dashboards, and virtual collaboration. The most consistently remote functions are campaign performance reporting, attribution modeling, and audience segmentation work that does not require on-site access to proprietary hardware or physical customer environments.
How can I get hired as a marketing data analyst in Kansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a business analytics or marketing coordinator role at one of Kansas's large healthcare systems, regional insurers, or Overland Park-based corporate marketing departments, which regularly bring on associates who rotate into data-focused work. Building a portfolio of three or four real analyses, including one using publicly available Kansas retail or agricultural data, signals readiness faster than a certification alone. A Google Data Analytics or Meta Marketing Analytics certificate adds a credible credential and is recognized by Kansas hiring managers across multiple industries.
Where can I find and apply to marketing data analyst jobs in Kansas?
You can find and apply to marketing data analyst jobs in Kansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Kansas openings in one place. Search the roles that fit your background, review the requirements, and apply directly to the ones that match your experience level and preferred location or work arrangement.
