Why You'll Love Being Here
We like to think of ourselves as the “better place to build your OT career,” and here’s why:
Mentorship & Onboarding: Regardless of years of experience, all clinicians are offered a structured onboarding and mentorship program led by trained, hand-selected mentors.
Intelligent Documentation: With the utilization of ScribeIQ (an AI documentation tool), clinicians can expect a significant reduction in their normal documentation time, allowing them to spend more quality time with patients and keeping their notes AT work.
Manageable Caseloads: We believe in aligning with regional outpatient benchmarks, and we’re proud to offer caseloads that are lower than many of our local competitors. This means you’ll have more time to focus on each patient’s unique needs, resulting in better outcomes and a more fulfilling workday.
Flexible Schedules: We know outpatient ortho has a reputation for long, unpredictable hours, but we work hard to support our clinicians and create schedules that work for both them and their patients.

Occupational Therapist Jobs in Philadelphia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a occupational therapist job in Philadelphia?
Philadelphia's strongest hiring happens inside its dense hospital and health system networks, large school districts, and pediatric specialty clinics. University City anchors a cluster of academic medical centers and rehabilitation facilities, while Northeast Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs have active outpatient and home health demand. Candidates with hand therapy, pediatric, or neuro rehabilitation experience stand out here. Tailoring your application to specific patient populations a Philadelphia employer serves gives you a real edge.
Which companies hire occupational therapists in Philadelphia?
Employers hiring occupational therapists in Philadelphia right now include Discovery Therapy, Rehab Without Walls, and Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Philadelphia's market is shaped by a mix of large academic health systems, independent outpatient practices, and public school contracts, giving occupational therapists a range of settings and patient populations to choose from.
Are there remote occupational therapist jobs in Philadelphia?
Yes, but with limitations, since occupational therapy is inherently hands-on and most roles require in-person patient contact. About 20% of occupational therapist openings tied to Philadelphia are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, skewing toward telehealth evaluation roles and case management positions rather than direct treatment. Philadelphia's telehealth-forward health systems have expanded virtual options most noticeably in cognitive and home modification consultation work.
How can I get a occupational therapist job in Philadelphia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Philadelphia is securing a fieldwork placement or per-diem role within the city's large school district contracts or long-term care facilities, which consistently bring on newer graduates. Philadelphia's pediatric clinics and inpatient rehabilitation units at its academic medical centers also hire Level II fieldwork students who convert to staff roles. Building familiarity with EPIC documentation and pursuing a specialty certification early, even as a new graduate, signals readiness to Philadelphia employers.
Which industries hire the most occupational therapists in Philadelphia?
Most occupational therapist openings in Philadelphia sit in Healthcare & Medical Services and Education, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Philadelphia's identity as a major medical education and research hub, combined with one of the largest public school systems in Pennsylvania, keeps healthcare and education consistently at the top of local occupational therapist hiring.
