- Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33677
- Status: Fulltime
- Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
- On Call: Yes
- Always in person
Summary:
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
- RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
Specific Skills:
- Clinical skills appropriate to position
- Interpersonal skills
Certifications and Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
- Preferred Nurse Specialty
E ducation:
- Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
- Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
Experience :
- Required includes 2 years RN experience Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
Facility:
BayCare Health System, Surgery-SJH
Location: St Josephs Main and Childrens
Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
Shift: Shift 2
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Occasional
