Target Milwaukee's manufacturing corridor and logistics hubs, where demand for operations talent is highest. The Menomonee Valley and Harbor District cluster industrial employers, while Walker's Point and the near south side host distribution and food production facilities. Candidates who combine hands-on floor experience with process improvement knowledge stand out, as do those familiar with lean or continuous improvement methods common in Milwaukee's manufacturing base.
Which companies hire operationss in Milwaukee?

Milwaukee's mix of legacy manufacturers, regional distributors, and growing food and beverage producers means there are openings at companies ranging from large industrial employers to mid-size logistics operations.
Are there remote operations jobs in Milwaukee?
Yes, though remote availability depends heavily on the role, since hands-on and floor-based operations positions require physical presence while planning, analytics, and supply chain coordination roles can often be done remotely. About 32% of operations openings tied to Milwaukee are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with the remote-eligible roles concentrated in logistics coordination, vendor management, and business operations functions.
How can I get a operations job in Milwaukee with little or no experience?
