Executive Administrative Ops Partner, Office of the CEO
Johnson Controls is seeking a highly capable Executive Administrative Operations Partner to support the office of the CEO. In this onsite/hybrid role in Glendale, WI, you will serve as a trusted administrative partner, help keep executive priorities moving, and work across teams to enable effective leadership, planning, and decision-making.
Role Overview
You will provide high-level executive support while also contributing to day-to-day operations for the CEO’s office. This role combines executive administration, project coordination, stakeholder communication, travel and event planning, and operational follow-through. You will report to the Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO and partner closely with executive office peers to improve efficiency and support the broader leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the CEO’s office by managing priorities, calendars, meetings, presentations, and administrative follow-through.
- Prepare executive presentations, memos, correspondence, and other materials with accuracy and professionalism.
- Coordinate complex scheduling, appointments, global commercial travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Daily management of global private aviation.
- Manage multiple projects and deliverables, including budget administration and coordination of executive materials.
- Track progress on cross-functional initiatives, identify risks or roadblocks, and help move work forward.
- Plan and support executive offsites, leadership meetings, and high-impact events.
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO’s office and internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather information, analyze data, and present options that support informed executive decisions.
- Collaborate with the Executive Office Coordinator and other administrative peers to ensure smooth office operations.
- Provide dependable, discreet support for confidential matters and sensitive business topics.
How You Will Do It
- Act as a proactive partner to the CEO’s office by anticipating needs, identifying priorities, and removing obstacles before they affect execution.
- Own confidential work with accountability, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to integrity.
- Stay close to the work, focus on what matters most, and keep executive attention on the highest-value priorities.
- Use clear, candid problem-solving and continuous improvement to strengthen processes and improve executive efficiency.
- Work across functions as one team, building trust and aligning diverse perspectives to support leadership goals.
- Bring structure to complexity by organizing details, managing deadlines, and keeping multiple workstreams moving at once.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of executive C-level support experience, or 10+ years of education and combined experience.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive solutions.
- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools such as MS Teams, Microsoft 365/MS Office Suite, and Power BI.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to influence and motivate teams without direct authority.
- Exceptional discretion and judgment when handling confidential information.
- Willingness to travel occasionally in support of key company events.
Preferred
- Experience supporting a CEO’s office in a company of similar size, scale, scope, and complexity.
- Experience coordinating executive offsites, leadership meetings, and high-visibility presentations.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,100-$104,000. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan that will take into account volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
