Job Summary
Con Murphy's Irish Pub is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to coordinate restaurant and pub activities, strengthen team performance, maintain service standards, and help deliver an enjoyable experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and guest-service operations.
- Coordinate front-of-house and kitchen activities during each shift.
- Supervise employees and provide direction when service volume increases.
- Assist with staff scheduling, shift assignments, and coverage.
- Monitor food quality, beverage service, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
- Review inventory and coordinate supply needs with management.
- Help control food, beverage, labor, and operating costs.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
- Monitor POS activity and cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain organized dining, bar, kitchen, and service areas.
- Ensure employees follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and employee training.
- Support special events, busy weekends, and late-night operations.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, pub, hospitality, or operations management experience.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
