PAK Technologies is seeking a hands-on Plant Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Good Hope facility. This role is responsible for driving production execution, workforce accountability, operational consistency, and overall plant performance through a strong presence on the production floor.
The ideal candidate is a visible, engaged leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment and is passionate about coaching employees, solving problems in real time, and ensuring operational standards are consistently met. This position is less focused on engineering or technical expertise and more focused on leadership, execution, accountability, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations Leadership
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely production.
- Monitor production performance and schedule attainment throughout each shift.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.
- Ensure operational priorities are clearly communicated across departments.
Workforce Management
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for production employees and supervisors.
- Reinforce performance expectations and maintain accountability throughout the facility.
- Address employee performance concerns through coaching, corrective action, and follow-up.
- Coordinate labor resources to support production demands and operational efficiency.
Inventory & Warehouse Oversight
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper controls, reconciliation activities, and process compliance.
- Oversee warehouse operations and material accountability.
- Partner with Operations, Production, and Inventory teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy.
Compliance & Facility Standards
- Maintain high standards for housekeeping, GMP compliance, safety, and facility appearance.
- Verify that procedures, work instructions, and operational standards are consistently followed.
- Ensure required employee training is completed and reinforced through daily leadership.
Continuous Execution & Follow-Through
- Monitor completion of corrective actions and verify sustainable resolution of issues.
- Escalate production-related concerns when necessary and drive timely resolution.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in a plant, production, or operations management role.
- Demonstrated success leading hourly manufacturing employees and supervisors.
- Strong coaching, communication, and employee development skills.
- Proven ability to hold individuals accountable while maintaining credibility and respect.
- Experience managing production schedules, staffing, inventory, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on relevant manufacturing leadership experience.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
