OT Jobs in Phoenix: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a ot job in Phoenix?
The strongest path into Phoenix's OT market is targeting its large hospital networks and outpatient rehab groups concentrated in the Midtown Medical District and along the Biltmore corridor. Phoenix's growing retirement population drives consistent demand in skilled nursing and home health, while pediatric clinics in Tempe and Scottsdale actively seek new grads. Candidates with hand therapy or neurological rehab experience stand out in this market.
Which companies hire ots in Phoenix?
Employers hiring ots in Phoenix right now include Briotix Health, Koch, and Ernest Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Phoenix's hiring landscape is anchored by major regional hospital systems, large outpatient therapy groups, and a growing network of pediatric and geriatric specialty practices spread across the metro.
Are there remote ot jobs in Phoenix?
Yes, though remote work is limited for most OT roles given the hands-on nature of clinical practice. About 33% of ot openings tied to Phoenix are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, concentrated in telehealth triage, care coordination, and utilization review positions. Phoenix's expanding digital health sector has created the most consistent remote opportunities for experienced OTs with clinical documentation or program management backgrounds.
How can I get a ot job in Phoenix with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Phoenix is securing a fieldwork placement or a rehab aide role at one of the metro's large outpatient clinic groups or hospital systems, which regularly convert strong performers into full OT positions after licensure. Skilled nursing facilities across the East Valley and South Mountain areas are particularly accessible for new graduates. A demonstrated focus on geriatric or pediatric populations gives candidates a clear edge with Phoenix's dominant employer types.
