Entry Level Outreach Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level outreach specialist job?
Employers hiring at this level look for demonstrated communication skills, comfort with outreach tools like email platforms or CRMs, and evidence you can build relationships from scratch. A strong cover letter, samples of past outreach campaigns or volunteer work, and any internship or campus organization experience give you a real edge. Tailor each application to the employer's mission and audience.
Which companies hire entry level outreach specialists?
Companies hiring entry level outreach specialists right now include Maximus, JCCA, and Amopportunities, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nonprofits, healthcare organizations, advocacy groups, and marketing agencies tend to hire most actively at this level, often seeking candidates who are mission-driven and comfortable working with diverse communities.
Are there remote entry level outreach specialist jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and role type. About 50% of entry level outreach specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, making this a more flexible field than many comparable entry level positions. Community-facing and field-based roles are more likely to be on-site, while digital outreach and communications-focused positions skew remote.
Are these new grad outreach specialist jobs?
Yes. The listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior outreach specialist roles that explicitly welcome candidates at the start of their careers. A new grad-friendly posting typically requires zero to two years of experience and accepts internships, volunteer outreach work, or a strong portfolio in place of full-time professional history. Look for postings that list those terms directly.
