Entry Level Senior Salesforce Developer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level senior salesforce developer job?
Focus on earning a Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer I certification before you apply, since many entry level postings treat these as a stand-in for years of experience. Build two or three hands-on projects in a free Salesforce Developer Edition org and link them in your resume. Internship experience, Trailhead badges, and any exposure to Apex or Lightning Web Components will give you a clear edge over candidates without them.
Which companies hire entry level senior salesforce developers?
Companies hiring entry level senior salesforce developers right now include Capgemini, NeuraFlash, and LTIMindtree, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. At this level, you will find openings across consulting firms, mid-size technology companies, and large enterprises that run Salesforce in-house and need developers willing to grow into the platform on the job.
Are there remote entry level senior salesforce developer jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer. About 51% of entry level senior salesforce developer openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, which is relatively common for this role since Salesforce development work is largely screen-based and easy to do off-site. Consulting firms and technology companies tend to post the most flexible arrangements for candidates at this stage.
Are these new grad senior salesforce developer jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior roles alongside other entry level postings. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or academic projects in place of full-time work history, or calls out a portfolio or Salesforce certification as sufficient. If a listing does not require prior employment but asks for demonstrated platform knowledge, it is a strong fit for a new grad applicant.
Which industries hire the most entry level senior salesforce developers?
Entry Level senior salesforce developer roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because they run large Salesforce orgs with enough ongoing customization and integration work to bring on developers who are still building their skills alongside more experienced team members.
