This position is open to RN candidates with greater than one year of experience.
This role requires acute pediatric nursing experience with infants as that is the majority of our pediatric home care patients. The position is structured as a per diem as needed position. The typical schedule is days, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Start and end times may be somewhat flexible based on clinician availability and patient care needs.
Summary:
Position functions as a Home Care RN and applies expertise of pediatric nursing to home care patients where care plan indicates such intervention is appropriate, and provides support and assessment to newborns and mothers under the grant-funded program. Employee serves in a consultant capacity to co-workers when increased knowledge of this specialty will enable the co-worker to provide improved patient care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program.
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
- Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year of acute pediatric nursing experience.

The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
