Intrinsic Physical Therapy & Wellness
Golden Valley, MN
About Us
Intrinsic Physical Therapy & Wellness is a specialty pelvic health and orthopedic physical therapy practice dedicated to helping people with complex, often overlooked conditions find lasting relief and improved quality of life.
We believe physical therapy should be individualized, evidence-informed, and holistic. Our mission is to empower patients to achieve optimal health through exceptional, one-on-one care that addresses the whole person—not just their symptoms.
Unlike many outpatient clinics, we prioritize quality over volume. Our therapists have the time and support to think critically, build meaningful relationships with patients, and practice at the top of their license.

Our therapists treat patients in private, one-on-one, 60-minute treatment sessions, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care rather than rushing from patient to patient. Documentation is minimal, helping reduce administrative burden and support work-life balance.

- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-informed, holistic care.
- Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education.

- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients as they progress from rehabilitation to wellness.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative clinic culture focused on continuous learning and clinical excellence.

Physical Therapist Jobs in Minneapolis: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a physical therapist job in Minneapolis?
Minneapolis hiring concentrates in hospital systems anchored near the Midtown medical corridor, large outpatient orthopedic networks, and sports rehabilitation clinics serving the city's active population. Candidates with experience in neurological rehab or sports medicine stand out in this market. Applying directly to the multi-site outpatient groups that dominate the Twin Cities metro, rather than waiting for inbound interest, tends to move the process faster here.
Which companies hire physical therapists in Minneapolis?
Minneapolis physical therapist roles are posted by Allina Health, HiredFirst, and Cassia and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The local employer mix leans heavily toward large integrated health systems, independently owned orthopedic practices, and specialty rehabilitation groups serving the broader Twin Cities population.
Are there remote physical therapist jobs in Minneapolis?
Yes, but only for a narrow slice of the role, since most physical therapist work is hands-on and requires in-person patient contact. About 0% of physical therapist openings tied to Minneapolis are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the limited but real demand for telehealth consultations, care coordination, and administrative clinical roles that larger Minneapolis health systems have begun offering remotely.
How can I get a physical therapist job in Minneapolis with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Minneapolis is landing a PT aide or rehab technician role at one of the city's outpatient orthopedic clinics or hospital-affiliated rehab units, which regularly hire at the support level and promote from within. New graduates who completed clinical rotations at Twin Cities facilities already have a foot in the door with local hiring managers. Targeting the high-volume sports and orthopedic practices in neighborhoods like Uptown and the North Loop gives you exposure to the settings that hire most actively.
Which industries hire the most physical therapists in Minneapolis?
The sectors hiring the most physical therapists in Minneapolis are Healthcare & Medical Services and Consulting & Professional Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Minneapolis's dense concentration of integrated health systems, specialty orthopedic groups, and sports medicine facilities tied to professional and collegiate athletics drives sustained demand across those sectors throughout the year.
