This role supports inpatient and long-term care rehabilitation services, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with mobility, therapeutic exercises, transfers, and functional activities
- Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the therapy team
- Support rehabilitation goals in inpatient and long-term care settings
- Document therapy services accurately and follow facility care standards
Requirements
- Active North Dakota Physical Therapy Assistant License Required
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience required
- Inpatient or long-term care rehab experience preferred
- Strong patient care, mobility support, and communication skills required
- Must be available for day shift schedule and 13-week assignment
