What You'll Do
- Assist licensed therapists with therapeutic exercises and patient care activities.
- Provide appropriate exercise guidance and cueing under the direction of the supervising therapist.
- Administer appropriate therapeutic modalities as directed.
- Help patients move safely throughout the clinic, including assisting with transfers and transportation to treatment areas.
- Communicate patient progress, questions, and concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Assist with patient scheduling, appointment reminders, cancellations, and no-show follow-up.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
- Assist front desk staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Support the Clinic Manager and Lead Therapy Technician with assigned projects.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Training or experience in orthopedic care is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge in exercise physiology, bio mechanics and exercise techniques
- Working knowledge of basic anatomy
- Successful completion of the MPOWER Tech Training manual and exam after training
- Comfortable effectively using MS Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Ability to work with Practice Management software as required after training
- Good communication skills and the ability to perform patient education duties
