Office Manager and Policy Assistant
The American Soybean Association’s (ASA) interdepartmental team in Washington D.C. is seeking an office manager and policy assistant to support general office administration needs, support the government affairs team on developing policy issues, and assist other departments as needed. This individual would assist with office management, ASA meeting support, and advocacy work; and would collaborate across ASA functions and with state affiliates. Under the direction of the executive director of government affairs, this position will support several departments within ASA, with opportunities to develop into a more senior role.
ASA is a national trade association that advocates on behalf of all U.S. soybean farmers on domestic and international trade issues. It is the collective voice of nearly 500,000 producers in 30 soybean-producing states represented through 26 state affiliates. ASA is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, and its Government Affairs team is based in Washington, D.C.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Ability to learn and work independently and proactively, while accepting guidance from other team members.
- Can-do attitude.

- Commitment to excellence.
- Position requires up to 10% travel.
