Job Description:
We are looking for a Principal Test Engineer for our CPLS products support of ASIC and Embedded Programmable Logic devices. Position is based out of our Colorado Springs, CO location. Primary focus on supporting divisional requirements in new product development and manufacturing support of existing products. As a Test Engineer you will work closely with Product Engineering to maintain current test programs, debug production issues such as fab process and test yields, optimize programs to maximize cost efficiency and support nonstandard customer requests.
Job details include:
Test program development, debug, implementation and sustaining for production, qualification testing and characterization.
Test hardware (load/test board) design and implementation for production and qualification/characterization testing.
Development and introduction of new test methodologies to solve new product test requirement and support cost effective solution to manufacturing.
Creation of device test specification/test plans.
Platform conversions from one ATE platform to another.
Ensures quality and robustness of the test programs/hardware developed and released to production.
Involvement in “Cost Reduction” projects (e.g. test time reduction, yield improvement, conversion among others) with impact to cost, quality and productivity.
Work within global engineering teams to maintain efficient, effective manufacturing, driving cost down.
Provide technical leadership in resolving test S/W and/or H/W issues
Perform additional job related tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience in developing analog and mixed-signal hardware/test programs.
Experience in analog and mixed-signal ATE platforms.
Software experience in C, C++ programming.
Operating system experience in Unix and Linux.
Proper use of the standard MS-Office applications
Solid knowledge in circuit design and simulation
Superior communication skills in written and oral.
Ability to work in a global multi-functional team environment.
Flexible working hours to accommodate tester usage and communication with global team members.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to multi-task.
BS / MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
10+ years industry experience.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $85,000 - $140,000.*- Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
