JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst, Business Process serves as a strategic facilitator between IT and business operations, partnering with leaders across multiple lines of business to optimize workflows and drive operational excellence. This role encompasses the full project lifecycle—from identifying and documenting complex business requirements through implementation and change management—ensuring technical solutions effectively leverage enterprise systems to deliver measurable value both internally and externally.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive process analysis to eliminate inefficiencies, translating business needs into actionable technical specifications, leading cross-functional stakeholder sessions, and providing guidance during system implementations to ensure seamless process integration. The position requires facilitating consensus among diverse stakeholders, presenting process recommendations to leadership, and championing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and user adoption.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Requirements & Process Analysis
- Partner with leaders across multiple lines of business to identify, document, and validate complex business requirements
- Conduct comprehensive process analysis to optimize workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
- Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications for development teams
- Design future-state business processes that leverage technology capabilities while maintaining operational excellence
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Lead cross-functional requirements gathering sessions with leaders, and operational teams
- Facilitate consensus-building among stakeholders with competing priorities
- Present process recommendations and project impacts
- Maintain clear communication channels throughout project lifecycle
Implementation & Change Management
- Provide project management during system implementations
- Lead post-implementation support activities, including process refinement and user training
- Monitor business process performance and recommend continuous improvements
- Support change management initiatives to drive user adoption
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have direct reports.
TRAVEL/SHIFT REQUIREMENTS
- Minimal travel expected
- Occasional work after normal business hours on an as needed basis
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The position requires sitting, standing and possibly some light lifting, less than 20 pounds.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (Visio, Lucid chart, or similar)
- Knowledge of database design principles and data flow analysis
- Experience with business intelligence, analytics and familiarity with AI tools
- Proven stakeholder management experience across diverse business functions
- Strong facilitation skills for complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Change management experience with large-scale system implementations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Information Technology, or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of business process Analyst experience in enterprise environments
- Proven track record with ERP and/or WMS implementations and process optimization
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
