Position Title: Purchasing Administrative Assistant / Purchasing Assistant
Location: Saline, MI - 48176
Duration: 11 Months
Job Type: Contract
Work Type: Onsite
Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00/hr

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting our clients supplier.com incident and request tickets to resolve access issues for supplier partners and internal team members
- Follow-up with internal and external stakeholders to confirm data, request information, and understand status on incident and request tickets
- Overall administrative duties (travel, catering, expense reports, meeting scheduling)
- Weekly ticket report management
- Develop/update operating procedures, gain consensus and support training for systems team activity
- Contribute input in staff team environment to expand role
- Resolve day-to-day supplier issues related to system communication failures, late assignments, etc.
Required Skills:
- High School Diploma (or higher) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 Year experience working in a direct or support role for Automotive Buying/Purchasing/Procurement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including ability to create charts/graphs, pivot tables and perform VLOOKUP functions
- Proficiency with PowerPoint (must have a test score above 80%).
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Minimum 1 year of experience working directly in our clients PSD Buying (Purchasing) as a Team Member or Contractor
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Visio, including flow chart creation and modification
- Minimum 1 Year experience with gap analysis and problem identification through data analysis
- Working experience with Microsoft Power BI (including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation and troubleshooting.
