Who's Hiring

Producer Jobs in Seattle: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a producer job in Seattle?
Seattle's production market is driven by its entertainment, gaming, and tech-media overlap, so candidates with cross-functional experience, especially managing digital or interactive content, stand out. Roles concentrate in South Lake Union, the Seattle Center corridor, and Eastside studios in Bellevue and Redmond. Familiarity with game production pipelines, podcast workflows, or branded content gives applicants a clear edge over generalist candidates in this market.
Which companies hire producers in Seattle?
Companies currently hiring producers in Seattle include TEGNA, Cox Media, and Fox Corporation, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Seattle's hiring pool is notably broad, mixing major tech-adjacent studios, independent production companies, and in-house content teams at large consumer and enterprise brands.
Are there remote producer jobs in Seattle?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the type of production work, with desk-based and post-production roles being far more remote-friendly than on-set or studio-dependent ones. About 50% of producer openings tied to Seattle are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the city's strong digital media presence. Content strategy, podcast production, and video post roles tend to offer the most flexibility locally.
How can I get a producer job in Seattle with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Seattle is through assistant producer or production coordinator roles at the city's independent studios, gaming companies, and branded content agencies, which regularly hire entry-level candidates. Local community access stations, the Northwest Film Forum, and university media programs also provide hands-on credits that Seattle employers recognize. Building a tight portfolio of local projects, even short-form or volunteer work, carries more weight here than credentials alone.
