We are seeking a visionary Digital Product Manager - Lead Analyst to spearhead client engagements, foster co-creation and develop strategic partnerships with our strategic clients and prospects. This role is crucial in driving new business growth by participating in the sales cycle and defining competitive, data-led solutions that differentiate Citi. The successful candidate will lead the solutions strategy, roadmap prioritization, product launch, and onboarding for products utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Data Sharing, digitization, and robust API integrations. We are looking for an individual with a strong blend of client engagement skills, product management expertise, technical acumen, and a passion for crafting transformative digital experiences that convert complex business needs into innovative data and digital solutions, ultimately elevating the client experience and driving business outcomes. This specific role will be highly focused on driving interface solutions across strategic clients and looking for opportunities to improve the operating model and scale these solutions across clients.
Responsibilities:
- Client-Facing Digital Solutioning: Lead the end-to-end solutions lifecycle for client-facing data platforms, from ideation and discovery to launch and post-launch optimization. Understand client journeys, pain points, and opportunities to deliver intuitive and impactful solutions.
- Interface Delivery: Lead client engagement and requirement definition to develop and scale our client interface delivery operating model, ensuring efficient and effective delivery.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Work closely with the Product Owners and articulate a client solution and strategy aligned with business objectives. Contribute and drive the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on client feedback and technological feasibility.
- AI Integration & Innovation: Identify opportunities to embed AI capabilities (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, predictive analytics) into data products to create intelligent, personalized, and automated client experiences. Work closely with the Product Owners and engineering teams to bring these innovations to life.
- Cloud Data Sharing: Define client requirements for scalable cloud data sharing mechanisms to facilitate seamless data exchange with clients and internal systems.
- API Adoption: Champion an API adoption, defining clear API specifications and ensuring robust, well-documented, and performant APIs for external consumption. Foster a culture of reusability and interoperability.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate extensively with sales, marketing, engineering and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align on priorities, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Understand market demands, competitive analysis, and technology assessments to identify emerging trends and opportunities informing product strategy and innovation.
- Contribute to the achievement of delivery targets, product financial performance and revenue performance goals.
- Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client management
- Help drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products and manage vendor relationship
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a client facing role focusing on data and digital products.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and onboarding data and digital products.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, digital asset management, cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and API design principles
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders and engage effectively with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Experience managing across multi-function and/or global business
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Financial Services/Asset Management experience a plus
