We are looking for an experienced and skilled Shift Lead with remarkable skills, who will run a store effectively and with attention to detail.
Our Shift Lead candidates are required to be in constant contact with the staff and customers. They need to be able to ensure their staff provides the highest quality product and customer services and monitors the overall quality of the cookies we sell.
A shift lead will be responsible for leading employees and ensuring that the store operates efficiently during their assigned shift.
Shift lead responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Manage all the basics of running the store
- Make sure employees that report to you meet performance expectations
- Keep employees moving at a quick/accurate pace
- Handle all customer service complaints/issues
- Keep the store clean
- Give clear instructions to employees
- Ensure that the work environment is safe, secure, and healthy
- Meet deadlines
- Ensure Great customer service at all levels

McGowan, coming from the software world, was accustomed to this methodology of testing. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.
