Our partners include the PGA of America, Golf Digest, Troon, multiple Major League Baseball organizations, USA Baseball, and more than 1,000 NCAA athletic programs.
Join Team Rapsodo and help us push the boundaries of what’s possible—one data point at a time.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Product Manager, Golf, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Rapsodo Golf, serving as the connection between commercial teams and engineering. You'll translate customer and market insights into products that drive meaningful outcomes for athletes while balancing business priorities, technical execution, and user experience. Working across global teams, you'll lead products from concept through launch and continuous improvement, using data, customer research, and AI-powered tools to accelerate product discovery, prototyping, and delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the connection between commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, BUs) and engineering — translating market and customer needs into technical requirements, and technical realities back into commercial plans
- Own the product vision and roadmap for Rapsodo Golf by maintaining a pulse on the market and competitors, tracking product usage, and understanding Rapsodo’s business strategy and objectives
- Run structured customer and market research directly with customers and commercial teams — synthesize findings into prioritized requirements, not just a list of feature requests
- Use AI tools to vibe code and create concepts and front end designs for customer research and feedback and to visually communicate requirements to Engineering
- Draft product requirements to supplement vibe coded concepts and work directly with engineering to scope, sequence, and execute releases — owning execution end to end
- Manage backlog and priorities directly with engineering across international and domestic teams, resolving conflicts between front-office asks and back-office capacity
- Define and track product KPIs (adoption, retention, revenue impact) and report performance to leadership and commercial stakeholders alike
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and roadmap trade-offs
- Partner with Marketing and regional Business Unit leads to plan and execute go-to-market for new releases, staying involved through launch and post-launch iteration
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus, not a requirement- 5+ years as a product manager on B2B or B2B2C software, with at least 2 years operating at a management level
- Direct experience writing PRDs, running sprint prioritization, and shipping features with an engineering team — not PM-adjacent roles like business analyst or project coordinator
- Demonstrated ability to set product strategy from data and market research, then personally drive it through to a shipped outcome
- Comfortable being the point of accountability when commercial teams and engineering disagree on priorities — describe how you’ve navigated that tension
- Experience working directly with engineering teams based outside the US — this is a daily reality of the role, not an occasional call
- Excellent written and verbal communication — equally credible presenting to a sales leader and to a senior engineer
- Comfortable operating as a senior/sole PM on a product line without dedicated research or analyst support
- Experience using AI tools to vibe code concepts
- People management experience with a track record of developing Product Managers
