Ateyo Studios is a Los Angeles-based creative product and merchandise studio. We work with brands to develop fashion-led products, gifting, and physical brand experiences from concept through production and delivery.
This role sits at the center of the studio’s physical operations. You’ll help turn ideas into real things, keep projects organized, pack and ship finished work, and make sure everything leaving the studio feels polished and intentional.
Location: Los Angeles, CA — In Studio
Schedule: 5 days/week
We're looking for a highly organized, hands-on Studio Production & Operations Manager to help run the physical side of our studio — from project organization and shipping to hands-on production, assembly, and finishing.
This is not a traditional office operations role. A large part of the job is physically making, assembling, packing, and finishing project materials. We’re looking for someone who is naturally hands-on, enjoys working with their hands, and is comfortable learning new tools and production techniques.
What You’ll Do
- Keep the studio organized and make sure materials, samples, packaging, tools, and supplies are clearly labeled and easy to find
- Organize active projects so products and materials stay separated and easy to track
- Receive deliveries, check quantities, and organize incoming materials by project
- Coordinate pickups, couriers, freight deliveries, and outgoing shipments
- Manage packing and shipping for client projects
- Build and assemble boxes, mailers, gifting kits, and presentation packaging
- Handle hands-on production and finishing work for custom projects
- Apply vinyl, decals, labels, transfers, trims, stickers, and other custom details
- Operate a Cricut or similar cutting machine
- Assist with printing, cutting, mounting, gluing, taping, wrapping, and finishing
- Assemble products, packaging components, displays, and prototypes
- Help create mockups and samples before larger production runs
- Make small adjustments or repairs to products and packaging when needed
- Follow visual references and production instructions carefully to recreate the intended final look
- Help problem-solve how to physically execute custom project ideas in the studio
- Prepare labels, inserts, packaging, and shipping materials
- Create shipping labels and make sure outgoing shipments are accurate and on time
- Track incoming and outgoing packages and troubleshoot shipping issues
- Supervise or coordinate additional packing help on larger projects
- Help with product counts, inventory organization, quality control, and final checks
- Keep production, packing, and studio supplies stocked
- Maintain a clean, functional studio and reset workspaces after projects are completed
Hands-On Production Experience Is Important
We are specifically looking for someone who has experience making or assembling physical things.
Relevant experience could include:
- Crafting or DIY production
- Cricut or vinyl cutting
- Print production
- Packaging assembly
- Prop making
- Fashion or apparel production
- Sample making
- Product assembly
- Set or display production
- Gift assembly or fulfillment
- Light woodworking or fabrication
- Sewing or textile work
- Working in a maker space, print shop, production studio, event studio, or similar environment
You do not need to be an expert in every tool or technique, but you should be comfortable working with your hands, learning new production methods, and figuring out how to physically make things look polished and professional.
