We are seeking a Project Architect to lead the design and planning of municipal, commercial, and institutional projects—projects that have a meaningful impact on the communities they serve. A responsibility of this position will be conducting field visits.

In this position, you will:

• Communicate design concepts, recommendations, and options to project teams, clients, and public agencies.
• Lead and oversee projects from initial concept and planning through design, construction, and project completion.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, timelines, and deliverables to ensure Projects are completed successfully and within established requirements.
• Develop design and contract drawings using advanced design software.
• Prepare comprehensive design and construction documents, specifications, and other project-related materials.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, ADA requirements, and other applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Mentor, guide, and oversee the work of junior designers and architects, providing technical direction and professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with project teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders while working independently when appropriate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.
• Licensed Architect required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Demonstrated experience across all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design and development through construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of related design disciplines, with experience leading and coordinating interdisciplinary project teams.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, industry standards, zoning requirements, and ADA compliance, and other applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of Rhinoceros (Rhino) preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and client communication skills.
• LEED AP certification is a plus.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in the office five days per week.

Salary range is $90,000 – $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
