Position Summary
The Sr. Project Coordinator Team Lead will lead a team of Project Coordinators tasked with supporting Project Managers, Market Sector Leaders, Engineering Principals, and other team members, primarily in support of the Building Engineering Services (BES) market sectors. This team may also support projects from other HDR business groups and market sectors where BES plays a key role in project delivery.
In This Role, We'll Count on You To:
- Serve as a primary point of contact with the Business Group Manager, Market Sector Leads, Project Managers, team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to encourage staff growth and development.
- Provide staff work planning for all activities and encourage collaboration among Project Coordinators. Acknowledge individual contributions and promote a supportive culture to enhance teamwork and improve outcomes.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Lead a team of Project Coordinators in activities required to assist Market Sector Leads and Project Managers, including:
- Assist with implementation of the HDR Quality Management System (QMS) across all phases of project management.
- Assist with implementation of quality standards for project deliverables.
- Identify essential project records and track documents requiring review, comments, responses, or signatures.
- Review project milestones to help keep projects on schedule.
- Review project progress reports for monthly invoices to support compliance with client requirements.
- Assist with project setup, including application of a consistent project file structure.
- Manage project-related documentation, both digital and hard copy, ensuring files are accessible and appropriately organized for team members and stakeholders.
- Assist with the organization, oversight, editing, and delivery of project specifications.
- Assist with construction-phase services, including administration of construction-related communications such as RFIs, shop drawings, and contract change management.
- Perform administrative and other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
- Commitment to championing the HDR Quality Management System (QMS) and quality initiatives.
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree.
