The Project Controls Bootcamp at Aegis is an incredible opportunity to learn project controls from experts in the field. This full-time program equips participants with the core skills needed for a career in project controls. General responsibilities include:
- Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on project execution goals
- Perform critical path analyses and identify schedule-related problems, recommend corrective actions
- Conduct site walks for progress validation and prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team
- Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program
- Review the contractor’s progress and present it to management for decision-making
- Communicate project status and challenges effectively
- Review and evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Commitment to learning and actively participating in the Bootcamp program
- Degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or a related field or two to four years of construction experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
