7. Job Description:
*Installation and Configuration: Install and configure HVAC control systems, including thermostats, sensors, actuators, and controllers, ensuring they are calibrated for efficient operation.
*Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC control systems to identify and rectify issues or malfunctions promptly. Conduct repairs and replacements as needed to maintain system performance.
*Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to HVAC control systems, electrical components, and sensors. Identify root causes of issues and implement solutions effectively.
*System Optimization: Optimize HVAC systems for energy efficiency and comfort by adjusting controls, settings, and parameters. Ensure systems meet design specifications and comply with environmental and energy regulations.
*Control Programming: Program and reprogram control systems to accommodate changes in building needs, schedules, or to enhance system performance. Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is often required.
*Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring all work is performed safely and that systems meet regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date with relevant codes and standards.
