Entry Level Promotions Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level promotions manager job?
Focus on building tangible experience before you apply. Internships in marketing, event coordination, or brand promotions give you the portfolio evidence employers want at this stage. Highlight any campaigns you contributed to, even in a supporting role. Employers hiring at the entry level typically value demonstrated initiative, clear communication skills, and familiarity with promotional channels over years on a resume.
Which companies hire entry level promotions managers?
Companies hiring entry level promotions managers right now include Amazon, Perdue, and Peloton, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a broad mix of employers, including consumer brands, agencies, and media companies that run ongoing promotional campaigns and need junior talent to support execution.
Are there remote entry level promotions manager jobs?
Yes, though most entry level roles lean on-site. About 0% of entry level promotions manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so candidates who need flexibility will find some options. On-site roles remain common because early-career promotions work often involves in-person event coordination and direct collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
Are these new grad promotions manager jobs?
Yes, many of these openings are new grad and junior roles aimed at recent graduates entering the field for the first time. A new grad friendly posting typically welcomes zero to two years of experience and treats internships, coursework projects, or a promotions portfolio as qualifying background. Look for language like "entry level," "recent graduates encouraged," or "training provided" in the job description.
Which industries hire the most entry level promotions managers?
Entry Level promotions manager roles concentrate in Retail, Technology & Software, and E-Commerce & Online Marketplaces, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive consistent hiring at the entry level because they run high-volume promotional activity, launch frequent campaigns, and need junior professionals to support brand visibility and consumer engagement initiatives.
