Mid Level Promotions Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a mid level promotions manager job?
Position yourself around ownership: highlight campaigns or programs you led from brief to results, not just tasks you supported. Emphasize measurable outcomes, cross-functional coordination, and any moments where you made independent judgment calls. Tailor your resume to show progression in scope, and write a cover letter that names the specific kind of promotions work the employer does rather than describing promotions management in general.
Which companies hire mid level promotions managers?
Companies hiring mid level promotions managers right now include DoorDash, CELLA, and Google, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from organizations with established marketing functions large enough to support a dedicated promotions role, including consumer brands, retailers, media companies, and agencies managing multi-channel campaigns.
Are there remote mid level promotions manager jobs?
Yes, remote and hybrid options are available, though they vary by employer and industry. About 33% of mid level promotions manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so the majority of roles do involve some in-person presence. Filtering by work setting when you search can help you focus on the arrangements that fit your situation.
How do I move up to a mid level promotions manager role?
Progressing from an entry level position means building a record of owning work, not just completing it. Focus on leading a promotion from planning through reporting, taking on cross-team coordination, and developing fluency with analytics so you can connect promotional activity to business outcomes. Employers look for people who have demonstrated they can handle a project with less hand-holding and who have started to develop a point of view on strategy, not just execution.
Which industries hire the most mid level promotions managers?
Mid Level promotions manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Retail, and Food & Beverage, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors tend to run frequent, high-stakes promotional programs across multiple channels, which creates consistent demand for experienced professionals who can manage campaigns with real accountability and limited day-to-day supervision.
