Senior Level Property Casualty Insurance Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level property casualty insurance job?
Employers at this level look for demonstrated ownership of complex accounts, books of business, or claims operations, not just participation in them. Candidates who stand out typically hold advanced designations such as CPCU or ARM, have led cross-functional projects or teams, and can show measurable outcomes like loss ratio improvement or portfolio growth. A history of mentoring junior staff and influencing underwriting or claims strategy carries real weight at the senior level.
Which companies hire senior level property casualty insurances?
Companies hiring senior level property casualty insurances right now include Community Financial System, Arthur J. Glatfelter Agency, and Netflix, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Hiring at this level covers national carriers, regional insurers, large brokerages, and specialty lines firms that need experienced professionals to lead complex accounts and drive performance.
Are there remote senior level property casualty insurance jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by role type and employer. About 46% of senior level property casualty insurance openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, with claims management and underwriting advisory roles tending to offer more location flexibility than hands-on account or field-facing positions. Search current listings on Migrate Mate to filter by work setting.
What makes a property casualty insurance role senior level?
Senior level roles are defined by ownership and scope rather than task execution. Professionals at this stage set direction on underwriting guidelines, lead claims resolution for high-severity accounts, manage relationships with key producers or clients, and mentor less experienced staff. They are expected to contribute to departmental strategy, exercise independent judgment on complex coverage questions, and be accountable for portfolio-level outcomes.
Which industries hire the most senior level property casualty insurances?
Senior Level property casualty insurance roles concentrate in Insurance, Technology & Software, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors drive demand because their scale, regulatory exposure, and risk complexity require seasoned professionals who can manage large accounts and lead technical teams independently.
