Looking for a role where you own the outcome, not just the task list?
We're looking for a driven Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit to lead one of our property management teams. You'll oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties belonging to multiple owners, and you'll be responsible for everything that portfolio produces, from occupancy and collections to maintenance and owner satisfaction. You'll lead a team and be accountable for its results, and every owner in your portfolio will know you as their main contact. As the company grows, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Empower Your Team: Supervise, coach, and hold accountable the property managers and support staff who report to you. Build a positive, solutions-focused culture where every owner and resident gets a response and nothing falls through the cracks.
- Oversee a Multifamily Portfolio: Manage performance across multiple apartment properties. Stay on top of occupancy, delinquency, turn times, and maintenance completion at every property. Work with our centralized leasing and accounting teams, get units rent-ready quickly, and visit properties regularly to keep them in top condition.
- Manage Multiple Owner Relationships: Act as the main strategic partner for each owner in your portfolio. Deliver clear monthly reporting that explains what happened and what we're doing about it. Communicate proactively, resolve issues before they escalate, and build lasting relationships based on trust with each owner.
- Fuel Our Growth: Much of our growth comes from referrals by owners who already work with us. Keep your owners happy enough to send us their next property and their friends' properties, and onboard new owners smoothly.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3+ years of multifamily property management experience, including experience leading a team.
- Portfolio Management: Experience overseeing multiple properties at once and managing relationships with multiple owners.
- Leadership: A track record of managing direct reports and holding a team accountable for results.
- Results Ownership: Experience being measured on outcomes and delivering them.
- Owner Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication. You can explain an owner statement, a variance, or a vacancy plan with confidence, and you can deliver bad news along with a solution.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in property management software. AppFolio is highly preferred.
- Requirements: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for property visits. An active Colorado Real Estate license is preferred.
