INTRODUCTION
Banner - University Medical Group, one of the country’s premier non-profit healthcare networks, is actively interviewing for an Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our highly trained team. We are seeking a team member who will work collaboratively yet independently with a diverse patient panel and provide high-quality, evidence based care for patients living with psychiatric conditions. The position is located within the Department of Psychiatry at Banner University Medical Center – Tucson. Our medical team is supported by medical assistants. The qualified candidates must be passionate about providing patient and family-focused behavioral health care, working collaboratively with a team of psychiatrists and psychologists, and excited to work in an academic medical center, with the opportunity to train future healthcare providers.
POSITION DETAILS & REQUIREMENTS
- Certified PMHNP with DEA license
- At Least Two Years of Experience
- Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM, no weekends, no call – some tele an option (1-2 d/week)
- 60 min intake / 30 min F/U – adequate time with each patient
- Practice independently
- Diverse patient panel
