ABOUT OUR PRACTICE

Houston Bilingual Psychology is a small, family-owned psychology practice serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Licensed Psychologist who values culturally responsive care and a collaborative working environment.

This salaried position offers the opportunity to provide psychological evaluations and psychotherapy, with the balance of services tailored to your experience, clinical interests, and the practice’s needs. You will work directly with experienced psychologists and receive administrative support with scheduling and insurance verification.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct clinical interviews and gather relevant developmental, educational, behavioral, and family histories. Perform psychological evaluations within your areas of competence. Administer, score, and interpret assessment instruments appropriate to the referral question and the patient’s language and cultural background. Prepare clear, thorough reports with practical recommendations. Explain evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and families in English and Spanish. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and parent consultation as appropriate. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with referring providers, schools, and other professionals when appropriate and authorized. Complete clinical documentation and reports within established timelines. Maintain professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctoral degree in clinical, counseling, school psychology, or a closely related psychology field. Current Texas license to practice independently as a Licensed Psychologist. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish, including the ability to conduct clinical interviews and explain findings in both languages. Experience conducting psychological assessments and preparing evaluation reports. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and organization. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small clinical team. Commitment to dependable attendance, compassionate care, and timely documentation.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Bilingual assessment and treatment. Evaluation of autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioral concerns. Clinical work with children, adolescents, and families. Experience serving culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Familiarity with electronic health records, insurance documentation, and SimplePractice.

COMPENSATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Full-time salaried employment: $100,000–$120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Administrative support with scheduling and insurance verification. A welcoming, collaborative practice with direct access to practice leadership. A clinical workload that includes patient services, assessment scoring, report writing, and documentation. Specific schedule and performance expectations discussed during the interview.
