ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Incumbent will assist with coordination of statewide contracts for assigned divisions within CYFD. This includes development of RFPs, professional service contracts, general service contracts, intergovernmental agreements, contract expenditures/payments and providing technical assistance and training to contractors under both federal grants and state general fund. This position plays a very important part for vendors receiving payment for services rendered. Incumbent will process all invoices for Protective Services by creating vouchers in SHARE and ensuring DFA receives all necessary documentation to pay vendor. This position will be the lead point of contact for execution of agreements and adjustments within Falling Colors.
This position will assist Contract Development Unit (CDU) to develop, execute, enter, and agreements into the Falling Colors system. This position will also assist the CDU to independently perform all tasks involved in the accurate development, facilitation and oversight of the agency's binding agreements, which include, but are not limited to, Professional Services Contracts, General Serviced Contracts, Amendments, Small Purchase Contracts, Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), Request for Information (RFI), Invitation to Bid (ITB), and Sole Source Procurement's. This position is responsible for developing, interpreting, assembling, reviewing, routing, tracking, distributing, filing, and maintaining all required documentation in hard copy and electronic copy, associated with the agency's procurement vehicles, contracts and agreements, in alignment with all applicable agency, state and federal laws rules and regulations.

Children, Youth, and Families across New Mexico, professionals providing services to children and department employees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting and Finance and one (1) year of experience in accounting, finance, purchasing, procurement, and/or warehouse clerking. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling five (5) years may substitute for the required education and experience.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. Pre-employment background investigation is required and is conditional pending results.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in an office setting, with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), extensive computer and telephone usage. Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
