Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute functional test cases for new features, system upgrades, integrations, and defect resolution for Guidewire and Integrating applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define test scenarios, test data, and execution plans.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ALM).
• Drive development of automation test scripts based on test strategy and existing frameworks.
• Remove impediments faced by project team members, utilizing agile methodology tools where applicable (e.g., scrum of scrum, retrospectives, etc.).
• Test management, communication, metrics, and status reporting, including identification of risks and escalation of issues to the project team.
• Obtain approval from for all deliverables as per the defined acceptance criteria.
• Provide testing updates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years Experience in Software testing centered around Guidewire PolicyCenter experience (preferably on cloud platform of PolicyCenter).
• Four + years of experience in Functional testing (creating test plans/test cases/test data strategy).
• Experience with agile project delivery methodology (i.e., scrum).
• Four + years of experience with project and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Hands on experience with 1 or more test automation frameworks and automation tool (e.g GT framework, Selenium, Playwright).
• Experience in the Property and Casualty domain.
• Knowledge of APIs and testing them using POSTMAN/SOAP UI.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, and geographic location.
