Duties:
- Perform quality checks on various production lines as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Ensure products comply with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
- Identify areas for improvement in the facility and report them to the QA Manager.
- Communicate quality concerns or food safety issues to the QA Manager with urgency.
- Physically inspect incoming ingredients and monitor the dry and frozen warehouse for proper handling.
- Perform checks across all stages of production to ensure products meet quality and temperature requirements.
- Monitor final product code dates and packaging to verify accuracy.
- Routinely monitor metal detector equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Record freezer and cooler temperatures hourly to maintain product safety.
- Document weekly scale standardization and quarterly calibration performed by an outside service.
- Document weekly thermometer standardization using a certified thermometer monthly.
- Conduct shelf-life testing of new plates and sealing materials.
- Complete daily records accurately.

- Work in production environment below 40 degrees

- Constant Stand up work
- Repetitive hands motion
- Bending, Stooping, turning, twisting motions
- Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

- Work on wet floor, wearing slip-resistant water-proof footwear
- Ability to work around metal detectors
- Knowledge of USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and FDA regulations.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to implement corrective actions.
- Enforce all department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Good communication skills
