- A team player who is dependable, professional, and willing to step in wherever needed
What We Value
At Canyon Home Health, we believe compliance and quality are not simply about checking boxes. Our documentation should tell the story of the patient, support the care our clinicians are providing, and demonstrate why our services are needed.

We are looking for someone who wants to be invested in the team, invested in education, and invested in providing the highest quality care possible.
If you are a nurse who loves the details, understands home health, enjoys teaching others, and takes pride in doing things the right way, we would love to have you join our team.

Quality Assurance Engineer Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a quality assurance engineer in Utah?
Most quality assurance engineer roles in Utah require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field. There is no state-issued license for software or manufacturing QA in Utah, but roles in medical device or aerospace sectors often require demonstrated familiarity with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or AS9100 standards. Building a portfolio of automated test scripts and earning a certification such as ISTQB strengthens candidacy with Utah employers significantly.
Which companies hire quality assurance engineers in Utah?
Companies currently hiring quality assurance engineers in Utah include Merit Medical, Mars, and Zions Bancorporation, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Utah's concentration of medical device manufacturers, defense contractors, and software firms means QA openings appear across a wide range of regulated and non-regulated industries throughout the state.
Which Utah cities have the most quality assurance engineer jobs?
Salt Lake City, South Jordan, and American Fork have the most quality assurance engineer openings in Utah. Salt Lake City anchors the market through its density of software companies and hospital systems, while Provo-Orem draws heavily from the tech corridor companies concentrated in Utah County, and Ogden supports openings tied to aerospace and defense contractors operating along the northern Wasatch Front.
Are there remote quality assurance engineer jobs in Utah?
Yes, and more than most fields, since software QA work is inherently desk-based and well-suited to remote execution. About 38% of quality assurance engineer openings tied to Utah are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the role's compatibility with distributed teams. Test automation and functional testing roles are most commonly offered remotely, while hardware validation or on-site lab testing roles typically require a physical presence.
How can I get hired as a quality assurance engineer in Utah with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is a junior QA analyst or software tester role, which many Utah software companies post specifically for candidates without extensive experience. Employers like Domo, Pluralsight, and mid-size Utah Valley tech firms regularly onboard associate testers who can demonstrate scripting basics and familiarity with Agile workflows. Completing an ISTQB Foundation certification and publishing a GitHub portfolio with sample test suites gives candidates a concrete edge over applicants with similar educational backgrounds.
Where can I find and apply to quality assurance engineer jobs in Utah?
You can find and apply to quality assurance engineer jobs in Utah on Migrate Mate, which lists current Utah openings across software, medical devices, aerospace, and manufacturing.
