Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate dimensional and visual inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Evaluate products against drawings, specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements
- Accurately document inspection results and maintain required samples and records
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes, and other inspection equipment
- Run established programs on optical comparators and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
- Communicate quality findings effectively with Production, Quality, and Engineering
- Support the training and development of less-experienced employees
- Assist with inspection priorities and other quality-related responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- At least two years of quality control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Verifiable employment history and professional references demonstrating dependable attendance, reliability, and a positive workplace attitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances, specifications, and inspection documents
- Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, microscopes, and related inspection tools
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn related quality systems
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
