JOB SUMMARY & SCOPE
Responsible for testing of repaired units; to inspect, test, and assemble/disassemble units. Follow test procedures and accurately document and report findings as required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for the effective and timely completion testing functions.
- Analyze and interpret test data.
- Maintain productivity and quality standards of personal workmanship consistent with specified performance and company objectives.
- Check the functionality of newly installed applications and/or components to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
- Demonstrate a professional demeanor as a quality control associate at Peak Technologies.
- Troubleshoot, collect, compile, and analyze information to develop recommendations.
- Demonstrate proficiency with ServTrack systems.
- Follow all safety standards and requirements.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination and working relations with Peak Technologies personnel and management.
- Assist and support technical, production and warehouse personnel as needed.
- Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns. Provides suggestions for improvement.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS:
- Electronic repair and troubleshooting procedures and functions.
- Follow written procedures and processes but also have the ability to think quickly to answer questions and solve problems involving differing situations, requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned and unlearned alternatives.
- Capable of updating firmware and flashing circuit boards.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, and troubleshooting units to ensure the work is accurate and complete.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including ability to listen and disseminate information and communicate properly.
- Work effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Manage a number of priorities simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines.
- Work cooperatively and foster teamwork by helping co-workers with essential functions.
- Work overtime, as required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a technical aptitude, manual dexterity, willingness and ability to learn new electronic equipment and repair techniques. Experience with hand tools, multi-meter, and soldering equipment preferred.
- Previous electronic assembly and/or testing or related experience desired.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail a must.
- Previous experience working in a technology environment or familiarity with data collection equipment and repair a plus.

SUPERVISION:
Role does not involve management of employees.

Able to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision making.
