Entry Level Radiologic Technologist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level radiologic technologist job?
Start by completing your ARRT certification, which most entry level positions require before your first day. Employers at this stage look for completed clinical rotations, proficiency across standard imaging modalities, and a willingness to work varied shifts. Highlighting specific equipment experience from your program, strong patient communication skills, and any hands-on practicum hours gives candidates a clear edge over those with only classroom credentials.
Which companies hire entry level radiologic technologists?
Companies hiring entry level radiologic technologists right now include TridentCare, Advocate Aurora Health, and Trinity Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, and regional health systems tend to post the most openings at this level, often with structured onboarding programs designed specifically for new graduates entering clinical settings.
Are there remote entry level radiologic technologist jobs?
Yes, though most radiologic technologist roles require hands-on patient care and on-site imaging work. About 0% of entry level radiologic technologist openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with those options typically appearing in teleradiology support, image quality review, or administrative coordination roles rather than direct imaging positions.
Are these new grad radiologic technologist jobs?
Yes, the listings here include new grad, recent graduate, and junior radiologic technologist roles. A posting is generally new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts clinical rotations or internships toward the requirement, or explicitly states that new graduates are encouraged to apply. Employers hiring at this level expect to provide additional training and mentorship.
