Recruiter for a Restaurant Group in Los Angeles, California
We are seeking a professional and friendly Recruiter to join our team working for a restaurant group in Los Angeles, California! The Recruiter will be responsible for filling all positions (front of house and back of house) in our five restaurants.
This would be a fully remote, part-time position where you can schedule your own hours, however we have found that most candidates reach out during the day Monday through Friday. The pay would be $25 per hour, paid weekly and via 1099.
The ideal candidate has a few years of experience working in restaurants with some experience in management or recruitment in restaurants, and has good English and Spanish communication skills. The Recruiter would be responsible for creating posts online for new jobs, managing the spend for each job posting, reaching out to qualified candidates, conducting phone screenings with potential candidates, and scheduling interviews for the candidates to interview with our owner or restaurant management team after the candidate has passed the initial phone screening.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Manage the recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter or similar role (management) in restaurants is preferred.
- Experience working in restaurants is preferred.
- Language skills in both English and Spanish is preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales principles with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems is preferred, but training will also be offered.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
