Radiologic Technologist – Outpatient Cath Lab
Midwest Institute for Nonsurgical Therapy (MINT) is seeking a certified Radiologic Technologist to join our outpatient vascular and interventional team. Previous cath lab or interventional radiology experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate.
We perform minimally invasive procedures for conditions including peripheral artery disease, uterine fibroids, and enlarged prostate. You will work alongside our physicians and nursing staff to support excellent patient care.
Salary based on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms, imaging equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment within your training and scope of practice.
- Assist physicians during vascular and interventional procedures.
- Help with patient preparation and positioning.
- Learn to prepare and handle catheters, wires, and other procedural devices.
- Maintain sterile technique and follow radiation safety protocols.
- Assist with documentation, inventory, room turnover, and restocking.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography required.
- Current state licensure, where applicable.
- Cath lab, interventional radiology, or vascular experience preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn new procedures and techniques.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- A caring approach to patients and the ability to work well with a team.
