Entry Level Regulatory Affairs Specialist Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level regulatory affairs specialist job?
Employers hiring at the entry level look for candidates with a science or health-related degree, familiarity with regulatory frameworks like FDA or ISO standards, and any hands-on exposure through internships, co-ops, or coursework in quality or compliance. Tailoring your resume to highlight relevant lab work, capstone projects, or regulatory coursework gives you a genuine edge over candidates with a generic application.
Which companies hire entry level regulatory affairs specialists?
Companies hiring entry level regulatory affairs specialists right now include Oscar Health, Abbott, and Collabera, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology firms tend to post the most entry level openings, often through structured associate or coordinator programs designed for new graduates.
Are there remote entry level regulatory affairs specialist jobs?
Yes, though most entry level regulatory affairs roles still favor on-site or hybrid arrangements. About 21% of entry level regulatory affairs specialist openings are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, meaning candidates outside major biotech or pharma hubs can still find accessible opportunities without relocating.
Are these new grad regulatory affairs specialist jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior regulatory affairs specialist roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, accepts internships or co-ops in place of full-time history, or calls out a degree as the primary qualification rather than requiring an established regulatory portfolio.
Which industries hire the most entry level regulatory affairs specialists?
Entry Level regulatory affairs specialist roles concentrate in Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Insurance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Those sectors drive the most hiring at this level because they face ongoing compliance requirements that create steady demand for junior specialists who can support submissions, audits, and documentation workflows.
