Who's Hiring

Relationship Banker Jobs in Atlanta: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a relationship banker job in Atlanta?
The strongest path into Atlanta's relationship banker market is targeting the dense concentration of retail and commercial bank branches in Buckhead, Midtown, and the Perimeter Center corridor. Regional banks and credit unions based in Atlanta tend to hire candidates with customer-facing financial services experience, while the city's growing wealth management sector favors those with Series 6 or 7 licenses. Networking through Atlanta's strong finance and banking professional communities gives candidates a measurable edge.
Which companies hire relationship bankers in Atlanta?
Companies currently hiring relationship bankers in Atlanta include Regions Financial, Bank OZK, and Bank of America, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Atlanta's market includes a mix of large national banks with major regional operations, community banks headquartered in the metro area, and credit unions serving Georgia's public sector and healthcare workforces.
Are there remote relationship banker jobs in Atlanta?
Yes, though relationship banker roles are largely client-facing by nature, so fully remote positions are less common than in purely analytical finance roles. About 0% of relationship banker openings tied to Atlanta are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, with hybrid arrangements more typical than fully remote. The portions of the role most likely to be performed remotely are portfolio reviews, onboarding follow-ups, and back-office client support.
How can I get a relationship banker job in Atlanta with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Atlanta is starting as a bank teller or personal banker at one of the many retail branches concentrated in Buckhead, Sandy Springs, or Downtown, where managers frequently promote from within. Atlanta's large hospital systems, universities, and public sector employers also maintain credit unions that hire entry-level relationship staff. Candidates who can demonstrate basic financial product knowledge and strong customer service skills in local financial services settings stand out in Atlanta's competitive entry-level market.
