Sr. Manager, Brand Cost Finance

Job Summary
This role reports to the Sr. Director, Brand Cost and serves as a strategic finance leader and key business partner to the Segment CFO, Brand Leadership Teams (BLTs), and Supply Chain leadership. The Sr. Manager will drive profitable growth by providing clear financial insights on cost structure, cost drivers, and new product development, enabling informed decision-making. This individual must be able to translate complex financial insights into clear, executive-ready communications and effectively present to and influence senior leadership. This role operates in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and requires strong collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads financial support for the cost builds related to New Product Development (NPD), partnering with Brand Marketing, Brand Finance, R&D, and Plant/Sourcing Finance, and providing key insights to the segment
- Leads financial support for the cost builds related to Make vs Buy projects, partnering with Supply Chain, R&D, and Plant Finance providing key insights through the Gen-R process
- Leads the analysis for the annual and future standard cost roll process, ensuring clear insights and actionable recommendations are provided to the segment
- Translates OCOGS P&L results into clear business implications, risks, and opportunities for the segment
- Leads the E&O reserve review and forecast process for the segment, ensuring global alignment
- Drives a process improvement mindset across Brand Cost to simplify and enhance ways of working
- Leads financial discussions related to COGS in cross-functional forums to drive alignment on priorities and risks
- Champions a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
- 7–10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Experience in supply chain finance, product costing, and financial modeling
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Hyperion, Excel, and analytics tools
- Ability to build effective relationships across finance, supply chain, and brand teams
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights
- Proven people leadership, with a focus on developing talent and driving accountability
