About Us
We are a technology services company dedicated to helping organizations build and deploy cutting-edge AI solutions. From generative AI and custom LLM integrations to predictive analytics and intelligent automation, we work across industries to bring real-world AI applications to life. Our projects combine deep technical expertise with hands-on client collaboration to solve high-impact problems.
Role Overview
We are seeking a GTM Forward Deployed Engineer to own the motion from an early client conversation to a signed statement of work. Working as a direct partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and alongside our sales team, you will take the way Eliza nurtures opportunities and turn it into a repeatable, high-quality process for producing excellent statements of work. You are not just supporting deals — you are helping define how we shape, scope, and win them.
This is a senior individual contributor role for someone deeply fluent in modern AI architecture and hands-on enough to prove it. You will translate business goals into technical solutions, hold a firm point of view on the right model for the right job, and build the proofs of concept that turn high-value opportunities into wins. As an early and influential hire on a small team, you will have real ownership over how we win and scope work as we grow — success means the Eliza way of shaping and winning deals lives in a repeatable process rather than in any one person's head.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner with Sales to Win Valuable Deals
Work hand in hand with your sales counterparts to run a best-in-class pre-sales motion — one that wins valuable deals and sets clients up for high ROI.
Qualify opportunities early with a clear point of view on fit, feasibility, and value, so we invest our time where it counts.
Bring technical credibility into the room at the right moments, turning client interest into conviction.
2. Translate Business Goals into Technical Architecture
Take a client's business goals and translate them into concrete technical architectures, orchestration frameworks, and specific data access methods.
Hold a firm, well-reasoned point of view on the right model for the right job, and on the trade-offs behind each choice.
Define scope, phases, and the shape of an engagement in a way that is both ambitious and deliverable.
3. Build Defensible Proofs of Concept
Apply strong fluency across LLMs, databases, orchestration tools, and cloud APIs to design solutions that hold up to technical scrutiny.
Get hands-on to build and deliver proofs of concept that prove value and help the team win high-value deals.
Serve as the bridge between the commercial conversation and what Eliza can credibly deliver.
4. Author Excellent Statements of Work
Author clear, compelling statements of work that set the right expectations and protect both the client and Eliza.
Build credible estimates for effort, timeline, and pricing in partnership with delivery leads.
Raise the bar on what an excellent SOW looks like, and make that standard repeatable.
5. Scale the Eliza Way
Work side by side with the CCO to codify our approach into templates, playbooks, and a process the team can run consistently.
Find where the path from opportunity to SOW slows down or varies, and fix it.
Help the commercial function scale without losing the quality that sets Eliza apart.
Qualifications
Required
A strong communicator who can hold both the client's perspective and Eliza's commercial interests at once.
Deep fluency across LLMs, databases, orchestration tools, and cloud APIs, with a firm point of view on the right model for the right job.
Hands-on ability to build and deliver defensible proofs of concept, not just describe them.
A natural partner to sales, focused on a winning motion and real client ROI.
Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of an early-stage company.
Preferred
Prior experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or forward deployed roles at a consulting or AI services firm.
Experience authoring statements of work and building estimates for effort, timeline, and pricing.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation.
Equity options in a growing AI services company.
Flexibility to work across industries and problem domains.
A collaborative, mission-driven team passionate about the real-world impact of AI.

Tips for Your Remote Gtm Engineer Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote gtm engineer openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your experience and apply directly without sorting through unfiltered postings.
Build a public portfolio of GTM implementations
Remote employers can't watch you work, so document your CRM builds, automation workflows, and integration architectures in a shareable format. Screenshots, Loom walkthroughs, and GitHub repos showing real GTM configurations signal hands-on competence before the first interview.
Sharpen your async written communication
Remote gtm engineering teams run on written handoffs, Slack threads, and documented decision logs. Practice writing technical specs and implementation summaries that a non-technical stakeholder can act on without a follow-up call. This skill comes up in remote hiring assessments.
Get certified on core GTM platforms
Certifications in Salesforce, HubSpot, Segment, or similar revenue tooling serve as a verifiable proxy for skill when remote employers can't assess you in person. Pair certifications with a brief written case study showing what you built and what outcome it produced.
Remote Gtm Engineer Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote gtm engineer job?
Target companies that run distributed go-to-market teams, typically remote-first SaaS firms, growth-stage startups, and enterprise software companies with no central office. Remote employers screen heavily for async written communication, self-direction, and hands-on experience with CRM integrations, marketing automation, and revenue tooling. Demonstrating you can manage complex technical configurations independently, document your work clearly, and coordinate across time zones gives you a real edge over candidates without remote experience.
Which companies hire remote gtm engineers?
Employers currently hiring remote gtm engineers include Hologram, CRUVA, and Eliza, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Remote-first SaaS companies and distributed enterprise software teams make up the largest share of these openings, particularly in sectors where go-to-market velocity depends on tight integration between sales, marketing, and revenue systems.
Can you get a remote gtm engineer job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry-level gtm engineer roles are harder to land because you'll need to work independently from day one with minimal in-person guidance. Companies hiring entry-level candidates remotely tend to be startups willing to train for culture fit. You can strengthen your candidacy by showing hands-on work with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Segment, contributing to open-source GTM projects, or completing vendor certifications that prove practical skill.
Do you need a degree for remote gtm engineer jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers care more about demonstrated ability to configure GTM systems, build integrations, and drive measurable pipeline outcomes than about formal credentials. A portfolio showing real implementations, relevant platform certifications, and a history of contributing to cross-functional go-to-market projects will carry significant weight alongside or instead of a degree in most remote hiring processes.
Which industries hire the most remote gtm engineers?
Most remote gtm engineer openings sit in Technology & Software, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. These sectors rely on distributed revenue and growth teams that need gtm engineers who can own technical systems, automate workflows, and operate across asynchronous environments without requiring co-location.
