Job Summary
Scrum Master / Team Coach for a fully remote federal technology program. This role focuses on coaching delivery teams, running Scrum and SAFe ceremonies, removing blockers, and helping product owners and technical teams deliver work consistently. The position is contingent on contract award.
What You Will Do
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning support, and other scaled Agile activities.
- Coach multiple delivery teams on practical Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
- Work with product owners to keep the backlog clear, prioritized, and ready for delivery.
- Track work, risks, dependencies, and team metrics in Jira.
- Remove delivery blockers and coordinate decisions across technical teams and stakeholders.
- Help teams improve through clear follow-up, useful retrospectives, and measurable action items.
- Communicate delivery status and risks to program leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Six or more years supporting Agile software or technology delivery, including substantial experience as a Scrum Master or team coach.
- Experience facilitating ceremonies for multiple Agile teams.
- Hands-on Jira experience, including backlog refinement, sprint tracking, and reporting.
- Practical experience in a SAFe or other scaled Agile environment, including PI Planning or Scrum of Scrums.
- Current Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master, or comparable Agile certification.
- Current Tier 2/Public Trust or higher federal suitability, adjudicated within the last 18 months.
- Strong written and verbal communication with technical teams, product owners, and federal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent federal delivery experience.
- SAFe certification and hands-on Agile Release Train experience.
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification.
- Experience coaching teams through Agile adoption or process improvement.
Compensation
$145,000 to $155,000 per year, depending on experience.
Pay: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
