- Apply subject matter expertise across core sales domains, including:
- Sales methodologies (e.g., consultative selling, Challenger, MEDDICC, value-based selling)
- Pipeline management and forecasting
- Account strategy, territory planning, and growth motions
- Sales coaching and front-line manager enablement
- Translate sales strategies and performance insights into actionable learning experiences and enablement tools.
- Collaborate closely with instructional designers to ensure learning solutions reflect real sales environments and behaviors.
- Contribute to the creation of sales enablement and learning assets, including:
- Sales playbooks and field guides
- Messaging frameworks and value propositions
- Talk tracks, objection handling guides, and qualification tools
- Role-play scenarios and simulations
- Facilitate or support sales training sessions, onboarding programs, and workshops as needed.
- Help define and align learning and enablement metrics tied to sales effectiveness (e.g., conversion rates, deal velocity, pipeline quality).
- Incorporate feedback and performance data to refine recommendations and continuously improve solutions.
Skills + Experience
- 8+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, sales enablement, sales leadership, or a related role.
- Hands-on experience selling or supporting complex solutions in a multi-stakeholder sales environment.
- Working knowledge of common sales methodologies and pipeline management practices.
- Experience partnering with Learning + Development, Enablement, or Consulting teams preferred.
- Strong ability to translate strategy into practical tools, behaviors, and learning experiences.
- Comfortable working in client-facing, advisory, or project-based environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Tips for Your Remote Senior Learning Consultant Job Search
Build a portfolio of async learning deliverables
Remote hiring managers want proof you can design and deploy learning programs without in-person collaboration. Assemble examples of self-paced modules, async facilitation guides, and virtual workshop decks you've created, and make them easy to share digitally during the application process.
Signal remote readiness in your work samples
Show that your instructional materials are built for distributed teams by including remote-specific design choices, such as asynchronous discussion prompts, virtual breakout structures, and LMS-ready formats. Employers screen for candidates who understand how remote learners engage differently than in-room participants.
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote senior learning consultant openings from across the U.S. in one place. Search the current openings by role and apply directly to the ones that match your background before competitive postings close.
Prepare for async-first remote interviews
Many remote employers use asynchronous video screening tools or written assessment prompts before live interviews. Practice delivering clear, structured explanations of your past learning programs in two to three minutes, and be ready to submit a written design rationale or needs analysis as a take-home exercise.
Highlight tools that power remote learning programs
Name the specific platforms you've worked with, such as Articulate 360, Workday Learning, Cornerstone, or Adobe Captivate, in your application materials. Remote employers want to confirm you can be productive in their tech stack from your first week without on-site onboarding support.
Remote Senior Learning Consultant Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote senior learning consultant job?
Target companies with distributed workforces and established remote learning functions, such as SaaS companies, global consulting firms, and large healthcare or financial services organizations with employees across multiple time zones. Remote employers screen for self-direction, strong async written communication, and the ability to design and facilitate learning programs without in-person oversight. Demonstrating experience with virtual facilitation tools, LMS platforms, and articulating results from previous programs gives you a clear edge.
Which companies hire remote senior learning consultants?
Employers currently hiring remote senior learning consultants include ZS Associates, Veeva Systems, and Jerry, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Remote-first technology companies, distributed professional services firms, and large healthcare and financial services organizations are among the most consistent hirers of this role at the senior level.
Can you get a remote senior learning consultant job with no experience?
Yes, but remote senior learning consultant roles are harder to land without experience because you're expected to operate independently from day one without in-person mentorship. Remote-first startups and smaller consulting firms occasionally hire candidates with strong instructional design portfolios, completed freelance or volunteer learning projects, and demonstrated proficiency in virtual facilitation and LMS tools, which can substitute for direct full-time experience.
Do you need a degree for remote senior learning consultant jobs?
Not always, though many remote employers list a bachelor's degree in instructional design, organizational development, education, or a related field as preferred. What consistently carries weight in remote hiring is a portfolio of measurable learning outcomes, proficiency with digital learning tools such as Articulate or LMS platforms, and evidence of leading programs independently, which some employers weigh as heavily as formal credentials.
Which industries hire the most remote senior learning consultants?
Most remote senior learning consultant openings sit in Consulting & Professional Services, Technology & Software, and Healthcare & Medical Services, per current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. These sectors hire senior learning consultants remotely because their large, geographically dispersed teams require consistent, scalable learning programs that can be designed and delivered without a centralized physical location.
