Success in this role requires curiosity, strong communication skills, an understanding of technical concepts, and the ability to work across teams to move content from initial research and development through review, approval, and publication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Marketing and Technical Content Development
- Review existing marketing materials and identify opportunities to refresh, consolidate, or repurpose content to meet current customer and field sales needs.
- Transform existing resources, including INSIGHT presentations, into practical sales enablement assets such as competitive battlecards, product overviews, solution briefs, and customer-facing presentations.
- Develop content that explains not only product features, but also how Keysight Network Visibility products and solutions work together, address customer challenges, and deliver business value.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, compelling content for technical and business audiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to understand product capabilities, use cases, differentiators, and solution architectures.
- Use AI-assisted tools to brainstorm, outline, draft, summarize, and repurpose content while ensuring the final materials are accurate, useful, and consistent with Keysight messaging.
2. Competitive Research and Market Intelligence
- Research competitors’ products, solution positioning, messaging, presentations, datasheets, videos, and other publicly available marketing materials.
- Analyze how competitors communicate their capabilities, differentiation, use cases, and customer value.
- Summarize findings and identify relevant insights, messaging opportunities, and potential gaps in Keysight’s existing content.
- Help translate competitive research into actionable recommendations for new marketing materials and updates to existing assets.
- Support the development and maintenance of competitive battlecards and other resources that help field teams position Keysight solutions effectively.
- Use AI tools where appropriate to accelerate research, organize findings, and synthesize information, verifying important claims against reliable source material.
3. AI-Enabled Content and Video Creation
- Explore and apply approved AI-powered tools to improve the efficiency and quality of marketing research, writing, presentation development, and content repurposing.
- Help develop short-form product videos, demonstrations, setup walkthroughs, and instructional content that explain product workflows and customer benefits.
- Collaborate with technical experts to capture product demonstrations and create accessible video content, including setup and how-to resources for Keysight Application Fusion (KAF), as appropriate.
- Use AI-assisted video editing, transcription, captioning, voiceover, and visual creation tools where appropriate.
- Repurpose existing presentations, documentation, and recorded demonstrations into short videos, visual explainers, and other reusable content formats.
- Review AI-generated material critically and validate technical details with product experts before publication.
- Identify repeatable AI-enabled workflows that could help the broader marketing team create and maintain content more efficiently, following company policies for approved tools and data use.
4. Cross-Functional Project Management and Content Publication
- Coordinate content development projects across product marketing, product management, engineering, and field sales teams.
- Identify relevant stakeholders and manage review cycles, feedback, revisions, approvals, and publication milestones.
- Maintain project plans, content inventories, status updates, and delivery timelines to keep assignments moving forward.
- Gather input from different groups within the Network Visibility organization and help resolve conflicting feedback or identify issues requiring further review.
- Help ensure published content is accurate, current, appropriately approved, and consistent with Keysight branding and communication standards.

Tips for Your Remote Technical Intern Job Search
Apply early to remote roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists remote technical intern openings from across the U.S. in one place, so you can find roles that match your stack and apply directly. Remote roles often fill faster than on-site ones because the applicant pool is national.
Build a portfolio that documents your process
Remote employers can't watch you work, so your GitHub, project write-ups, or a personal site need to show your reasoning, not just your output. Document what you built, why you made key decisions, and what you'd improve next time.
Signal async fluency in your application
Remote technical intern roles require written communication and self-direction from day one. Your cover note and any take-home prompts should demonstrate you can write clearly, ask precise questions, and move forward without waiting for a reply.
Prepare your remote setup before interviews
Remote hiring managers notice lighting, audio, and whether you're comfortable on camera. Test your setup ahead of any video screen, have your development environment ready to share if asked, and be prepared to walk through code or a project live.
Remote Technical Intern Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a remote technical intern job?
Target companies that already run distributed engineering or product teams, since they have the infrastructure to onboard and support remote interns. Remote employers screen heavily for async communication skills, written clarity, and the ability to work independently without daily check-ins. A GitHub portfolio, documented side projects, and familiarity with tools like Slack, Jira, and Notion give you a concrete edge over candidates who lack remote-ready signals.
Which companies hire remote technical interns?
Remote technical intern roles are posted by Sandia National Laboratories, Red Hat, and Defense Unicorns and others right now, based on current remote listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Remote-first software companies, fintech firms, and distributed product teams post these roles most consistently because their workflows are already built around asynchronous collaboration.
Can you get a remote technical intern job with no experience?
Yes, but remote entry roles are harder to land because employers expect you to ramp up with limited in-person oversight. Remote-first startups and smaller software companies are more likely to hire entry-level candidates than large enterprises. What opens the door is demonstrable output: a public GitHub repo, a completed course project with documentation, or a small freelance build that shows you can ship code and communicate progress in writing.
Do you need a degree for remote technical intern jobs?
Not always. Many remote employers care more about demonstrated technical skill than enrollment status, especially at remote-first startups and product companies that evaluate candidates on what they can build. A strong portfolio, relevant coursework, bootcamp credentials, or open-source contributions can substitute for or complement a formal degree when applying to remote technical intern roles.
