DESCRIPTION:
The Principal Investigator (PI) will lead and oversee a program of research focused on general internal medicine and primary care. Responsibilities include developing and conducting innovative research studies, securing and managing external funding, supervising research staff and trainees, and collaborating with clinicians, faculty, and institutional partners. The PI will guide study design, data analysis, and dissemination of findings through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and reports. This role aims to advance evidence that improves patient outcomes, healthcare delivery, and population health in primary care settings while contributing to the academic and research mission of the institution.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
